Tell us a bit about your Spring/Summer collection. What was your main inspiration for the collection?

Pragmatism is a concept that has always been present in Armarium's vocabulary. With this first pre collection I imagined the wardrobe of a rigorous woman with a cosmopolitan spirit, who steps out of a metropolitan context and doesn’t take herself too seriously. I imagined a woman in Ibiza, Maldives or St Barts where she can unplug and feel fancy and wild, maybe listening to The xx or Nicolas Jaar.

The latest Spring/Summer 2025 is named “esquisse”, which means draft drawing, sketches in French. We propose new values to the fundamental concept of wearing clothes with creating new methods of pattern-making. The Spring/Summer 2025 collection by GIA STUDIOS is a quiet exploration of balance—between tradition and modernity, structure and softness, simplicity and depth. I was drawn to the idea of reinterpreting elegance in a way that feels effortless yet intentional, where beauty is found in subtle details rather than overt statements.
Inspired by classical Asian silhouettes, the collection refines these elements into something contemporary and understated. Asymmetry, wrap constructions, and obi-inspired accents appear throughout dresses, shirts, and blouses, offering a fluid yet structured approach to dressing. The selection of materials—gabardine, silk, and tulle—enhances this contrast, creating cocoon-like shapes that embrace the body, while the interplay between silk and satin adds a tactile richness.
Beyond the classic black, the colour palette expands into deep reds drawn from nature and folk traditions, muted neutrals reminiscent of aged architecture, and vibrant tones that capture the energy of life. Layering bold hues with softer shades creates a visual dialogue between strength and subtlety, resulting in looks that feel both unexpected and refined.

Tell us a bit about your Spring/Summer collection. What was your main inspiration for the collection?

The inspiration behind our Saorsa collection is the 1970's era and most importantly the spirited rebellion against societal norms of that time. The newly found freedom and ways of standing apart of time really speak to me as a designer. I translated this feeling in flowy silhouettes who embody a sense of lightness and fluidity. The colours are our signature black and off whites mixed with neutrals such as beige and sage, inspired by nature stand at the base of this collection. While designing I was very influenced by the soulful melodies of John Lennon and the Beatles, so I automatically infused this sense of freedom and creativity into our SS25 collection.
